Sorry new member.

1.Is it possible to write a, let just say wave file instead of a AAC file to the recording?

2. Whos neck can i grab, who said lets use AAC. Its junk, full of problem & i havent heard good audio from it yet.

3. Why cant there be a record button to click while you are watching the video?

Thanks
Warren

Can't help with #'s 1 and 2 but while watching a show, you can use ctrl+k to record it......at least I can.

No. When doing digital recordings it can only record the original digital stream that transmitted by the broadcaster.

Talk to Kordia and/or the Freeview consortium. This is nothing to do with GB-PVR.

1.
Is there any program that will convert the .ts file but keep the same picture quality & audio sync.

2.
How hard would it be to create a program that only used specific codecs you manually selected to decode a recorded stream & rewrite it as something else. e.g copy the video stream but convert the HE-AAC to standard AAC or something of your liking. That way the video should have audio & keep sync. That way it would be able to be (edited) or played in todays software of the mentioned type.

3. I hope im making sense haha.

Im really impressed with GB-PVR program & with the sub administrator for all his hard work.
