I guess you mean the Enhanced Web Admin (EWA)? If you want to use that from the internet, you have to forward the used port (7647 by default) in your router to the pc where GBPVR (with EWA) isn running. Then from the internet you type: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx
Where the x's are the wan-ip. If you use DynDns or something similar you can ofcourse use the name you gave it there.

I have an IIS server with a virtual directory that redirects to the long address. that way, all I have to type in is http://myname.dyndns.org/pvr. I have had this setup for quite a while as I could never remember all that either.

If you go into add/remove programs and components, it should be listed under IIS.

At dyndns you can also asign an adress to a certain webloction in your case e.g. : mynametv.dyndns.org instead of : " http://myname.dyndns.org:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx"

....or

create a /pvr directory where you put a redirection file

default.asp ....with this content.

<%
response.redirect "http://myname.dyndns.org:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx"
%>

Then surf to http://myname.dyndn.org/pvr

Spelling properly is the first step in order to make the search function work. Not trying to diss you, but I've become frustrated time and again when I've not managed to find what I was searching for, only to realise the poster spelled it wrong.Rolleyes

Hey, give the kid a break, he's not a native English speaker (as if we're any better, but at least he has a good excuse!). That said, I'm impressed with the English skills of the Swedish forum members. Do you guys record a lot of American TV with GBPVR?
