My EPG did not update early this morning. I do know that I can update the EPG from the System page within PVRX2.

I have attached a snapshot of the Config page.

I noticed that the scheduled EPG update time is grayed out. Is this why it did not happen?

What xmltv source are you using? Can you run an epgupdate manually? Does it work?
You can never have enough tuners!

I use Schedules Direct, if that's what you mean.

I can update the EPG by requesting that on the System Display and also update it by right clicking the Slimm-gbpvr icon in the system tray and selecting "Update EPG".

It seems to be just the automatic runniung of the update that doesn't seem to work.

Is it significant that the Automatic EPG Update time is grayed out? See the screen snap in my original post.

I waited before sending these files because I wanted to try some things. On 9/26 I changed CONFIG to log in DEBUG mode and rebooted the PC. I waited several nights to see how things went.

Recordinbg-dump is not getting updated when the Guide is supposed to be updated each night. Note on the attached screen snap that the 1:00 run time for updateing the EPG in CONFIG is grayed out.

I've attached all of the GBPVR Recording Service logs that were dated from 9/28 and newer. Since it is now the morning of 9/29 these should cover the time (1:00 on 9/29) when the update wshould have taken place.

Please note that the recording-dump file DOES get updated if I manually request an EPG Update in the System display in PVRX2.

Unless my screen and eyes are deceiving me, it's not greyed out in either of your posted pictures. It says "1.00 AM" as black as my hat.

Compare that field to the Recording Pading fields. At least on my computer, there is a distinct difference between these fields and the EPG UPdate field.

There is a third type of presentation on these screen snaps. In the Client Server field, the Using Streaming field text is grayed out.

Although the EPG Update time is not grayed like the Client Server field, I was referring to the gray background as opposed to the background for the Recording Padding fields.

Its not a disabled field, its just that you cant type in it. You can use the up/down buttons to cycle through the possible options.

I can see its trying to do the EPG update, but something is failing.

How many capture sources do you have, and what EPG Source are they using?

I have a Hauppauge 150 and Hauppauge 350 card and both use Schedules Direct.
