Question for the author(s), I have no problem modifying this to suit my needs, but I'm wondering if options like this could be incorporated in the GUI - or at least a couple of them. Maybe not any number of rows, but some static choices like "display [predefined numbers] of rows in the channel guide" (these would then predetermine the best font to use), "display channel [checkboxes] icon, name, number" etc...

That would be pretty nice and further define this plugin as a cool alternative to the default guide. This would also allow people to scale their guide to the TV size e.g. a small 4x3 right up to a gigantic 16x9 HD.

Yes, I already thought about making some options available through the config application, too - maybe in a future release (but not in the upcoming one).

is there a way to make this default epg plugin during live tv too?

i'm watching live tv, press f1 for epg but default tv guide shows (even tho i disabled it in configuration).

No problem. It was a skin issue and I figured that part out so I got the correct skins from the community skin area. I didn't mean to be so impatient.:p

I've had this error too, and it's a skin problem as it works fine with 'blue'. I've downloaded the latest version of the Community Skin which works fine with every other plugin I use - but not this one. So what did you do exactly to make it all work? Thanks.

try downloading the latest 2.6 version of TV listings from the Wiki. It works fine for me with latest CS3.

There was a skinning change in version 2.6 of TVListings that is not backward compatible. You need the latest CommunitySkin for 2.6 and vice-versa.

no, in pvrx2 it's not possible to create external video plugins that are displayed during playback.

installed 2.6 + newest community skin + now pvrx2 wont start, just sits on non-existant pvrx2 screen focus (have to ctrl+alt+del to kill pvrx2 to regain control)

If I am not seeing things, these logs list "Blue" as the active skin. Maybe reinstall both???
