Hauppauge 1600: Video/Audio Stuttering in Live TV for some HD channels but not others

Hi,

I am new to the forums and to gbpvr. I have previously been using 2005 Win MCE XP with an ATI 9600 XT AIW card. I just bought a Hauppauge 1600 card for clear QAM broadcasting on my Comcast cable. I installed gbpvr last night and managed to find all my channels digital std (480p) and HD (720p). However, some of my HD channels have video/audio stuttering problems while others don't. I have tried switching between different video encoders Cyberlink, InterVideo, ATI, and default with no luck fixing the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same issue and I found that its most likely a signal issue. The affected channels are also the highest frequency. Cleaning up my RF distribution improved things.
