No audio in TV

I get audio in video playback. I get audio in the radio panels, but no audio in live TV, nor if I browse through the TV guide, and choose a chan to watch.
Using onboard Realtek audio, tuner as source in Hauppauge PVR-250.
Latest drivers from shspvr, and it was working a week ago, but I've since formatted and reinstalled.

Anyone have any ideas?

Update. Directx9.0c installed. REinstalled dotnet.
Wiped out hauppauge drivers, reg entries, everything (twice) as per the instructions in the latest drivers.
Reinstalled newest drivers, reinstalled GB-PVR.
Still no live TV audio. :mad:

Update. How stupid is this?
Turned off "Live Preview if possible" on the Misc tab, and it now works.
All that @^$&^& work, for something as simple as one tick box.
I searched and read every post in the forum here, on this error/problem, and nothing...

Its not documented because you're the only person I've heard of with this problem.

He is not the only one with this problem. LiveTV didn't work for me at all (error about some object reference), recordings worked w/o sound only. After disabling Live Preview everything worked fine. BTW, I am using a Pinnacle PCTV deluxe.

first of all, the latest release is wonderful....but look at the posts when you first announced it....there are many reports that sound in live preview mode is not working. i have this problem, too.

i have two tuners...hauppauge 250 and usb2. no problem with the usb2....but the 250 has no sound in live preview. the only sollution is to turn it off. no biggie for me, but it would be nice.

i haven't seen anyone else report this, however: i have channel changing issues in live preview mode, too, again only with the 250. i've got an external cable box and usb-uirt. this works fine in live tv, but not in live preview mode. if a select channel 2, it doubles it and goes to channel 22. (problem only with single-digit channels). changing settings to pad with zeros or hit enter don't help.

and again, this is only in live preview mode with the 250. these were not issues before the last 2 releases (.08 and .07).

I first installed .05 and had the same issue. Upgraded to .09, same problem, so it doesn't seem to be a version problem (with my particular hardware).
