Hi,

as Fatman_do says, it seems that you're using the 'blue' skin, and there is something wrong with one of your skin.xml files:
Code:
2008-10-26 14:41:01.140    VERBOSE    [1]    System.Xml.XmlException: Name cannot begin with the '    ' character, hexadecimal value 0x09. Line 33, position 2.
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(String res, String[] args)
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Int32 pos, String res, String[] args)
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseQName(Boolean isQName, Int32 startOffset, Int32& colonPos)
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseElement()
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseElementContent()
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Read()
   at System.Xml.XmlLoader.LoadNode(Boolean skipOverWhitespace)
   at System.Xml.XmlLoader.LoadDocSequence(XmlDocument parentDoc)
   at System.Xml.XmlLoader.Load(XmlDocument doc, XmlReader reader, Boolean preserveWhitespace)
   at System.Xml.XmlDocument.Load(XmlReader reader)
   at System.Xml.XmlDocument.Load(String filename)
   at GBPVRX2.SkinHelper2..ctor(String filename)
   at GBPVRX2.x0061b801bdf12d35.x1fa9fc9cbb6f81c9()
   at GBPVRX2.x0061b801bdf12d35.xbfc28f633fcdbd77(Object xdf2e3583f942db7b, EventArgs xc4f45905cb1fc7ba)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl()
   at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl()
   at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m)
   at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m)
   at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m)
   at GBPVRX2.x0061b801bdf12d35.WndProc(Message& m)

as the error message doesn't tell me which skin file is broken, I would suggest to disable all plugins in the config app. If it then still not works, do a repair install of gbpvr. If it works, enable one plugin after the other to see where the skin files are broken.

I'v installed the TV-Listing plugin and it looks fine, but the Post-EPG program won't run, it complains about error in the xml-document (2, 11).

Can someone have a look at my xml-file? GBPVR does not complain about the tv-guide....

try to put the xmltv.dtd file from here into the same directory as your "TVguide.xml" file.

I'm not able to find any file at the given link, does that mean that I should have an empty xmltv.dtd file in the same directory as the TVGuide.xml?

The link had me baffled at first ...

You need to do a right click and save file as (keeping the filename)

Good Luck

yes, as graham says, right click the file and save the link target as xmltv.dtd next to your tv guide xml file.

Well, my browser wants to save it as "xmltv.htm", but if I rename it I get some content. At least the program runs:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
C:\Programfiler\Devnz\GBPVR>XmltvExtras.exe "Z:\XMLTV\TVGuide.xml"
Reading Z:\XMLTV\TVGuide.xml...
OK
Generating programme extras from xmltv...
No programme extras available.
Exiting.
C:\Programfiler\Devnz\GBPVR>
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And that's it. Is there still something wrong?

I just noticed the "TV Recordings" section - this is awesome. I was about to write something similar. One or two things I had in mind that yours doesn't have is 1) to have a button on the left with last played - this way if you had stopped in the middle of watching something it needs only one button to resume at the last location. 2) have a view option that uses a single line for each recording or directory (may be able to do this with skin work only)

Anyway, great job

no, there's nothing wrong, your xmltv source just doesn't include any of the additional programme information that is displayed by the tv listings plugin.
