I am beginning to see a pattern with failed QAM recordings that I think started when I installed 1.3.7. If I have two QAM recordings that are back to back (one starts immediately after the other) and they are on different channels, the second one ends up being recorded on the wrong channel.
For example, last night I had it record Terminator at 8 on FOXHD followed by Heros at 9 on NBCHD. The Heros recording ended being recorded as one of the SD weather channel feeds for the local ABC station. I am pretty confident the NBCHD channel is set OK since it record the NBC nightly news at 7 OK and again tonight at 7. I saw a similar problem over the weekend with different channels.
I have been scanning other posts and I don't see anyone else with this problem, so I guess I am skeptical about it being a GBPVR problem. My cable provider has been moving a few QAM channels lately, but I don't think it is the cause of this problem though. Those problems usually result in a zero length TS file.
I have attached my logs. I can see recordings going off in GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log starting at timestamp 2008-11-10:19:59.
I have also noticed the COMSKIP does seem to run for the second recording automatically either.
Do I need to rescan the QAM channels again with 1.3.7? I don't think I have rescanned the channels since installing 1.3.7.
