DVR MS files through MVP with PVR

Hello - Some help required,

I have recently installed a Hauppage MVP but have realised that it will not recognise/play the DVR MS files that Windows Media Centre uses to saves my recorded TV.

My question is, if I install the GB PVR software will it allow my MVP to recognise and play DVR MS files, or will it still be limited to MPEG's only?

...or if you know how to make my PC save my recorded TV as Mpeg's (i.e. without using Media Center) then that would be equally as useful.

A similar question was posted a few days ago.
If you use GB-PVR as your recorder (instead of the MCE application) you'll get .Mpegs which play fine on the MediaMVP.
