Well spotted gEd. Big Grin

Not sure of timescale but I am currently working on a recording mechanism.

In theory it's simple...in practice, however, handling conflicts with other radio use and, perhaps most importantly, GB-PVR TV recordings etc. is a bit of a headache.

Cheers,
Brian

A recording facility would be the icing on the cake for what continues to be a great plugin.

btw: I reinstalled the plugin a couple of days ago (after building new pc). The very latest version didn;t work at all, the previous (stable) one is fine. I'll have to see if I have any logs around but I was a bit pushed for time when I did it.

Thanks - recording is way up on the list of things I'd like to achieve (especially as it's on my wife's Wishlist for the plugin Big Grin ).

I presume you mean the Beta version didn't work? The logs don't get overwritten so unless you deleted them, they'll contain the relevant information.

Logs attached (i tried the beta late on the 14th)

I just got the red cross of death when I selected the plugin.

OK - just a guess but I suspect the answer would lie in the pvrx2 log files which have probably been overwritten by now....

Did you remember that you need to copy the DvbtrLib.* files into the plugins\Common folder? I'm not sure if I can think of another reason for it failing the way the logs suggest.

EDIT - thinking about it, the files extracted from the zip should do that anyway.

Hmmmm....

If course I didn;t remember ! :-) but they are there anyway.

If put 1.5 on again a repro'd the problem. Log attached.

Hmmm - actually this morning's attempt looks like you didn't start the dvbtr service when you put v1.5 back in.

If you try again, can you confirm that the DvbtrLib files in plugins\common folder are the same as those in the 'plugins\dvb-t radio' (all binaries should have a last mod. datetime of 21:39 12/11/2008). Also, make sure you've got the dvbtradio.xml and the DVB-T Radio.db3 (last mod times of 21:19 and 21:45 respectively).

The contents of the zip were actually taken from my own system so I'm not sure what's causing you problems.
