I have just gotten around to trying the .9107 and thus now the .9108 release and in the .9105 release I had posted that I was unable to click on the settings button on the DVD & Remote tab when I chose the USB-UIRT as my device. The button was greyed out.

in the release notes of .9107 this issue was addressed...sorta....the button is no longer greyed out, but when I click on it, it doesn't do anything.

This is after a full system reinstall...well....I have a image from ghost that includes everything I do up until I install GB-PVR (drivers, programs, misc software configs).

So....I'm not sure if this issue has really been fixed or not. Is anyone else having this issue on a full system re-install?

bump....

Hey sub, if you have read this and have added it to a todo list for a future release, then just let me know so I don't keep bumping it up to the top of the list here.

Thanks.

To be quite honest, I'm thinking about removing the USB-UIRT as input device and just leaving it as an IR Blaster (like it was upto a couple of release back). It just doesnt seem to behave itself when I try to use it from two separate processes at the same time (recording service for blaster, gbpvr.exe for reciever). Sorry.

ok...well...Girder helps me do everything I need to do anyways...but its just one more point of possible failure that I could live without.

i understand the supportability issue if it is not behaving correctly. Its hard to know where the problem lies, your code or jrhees and ultimately who would be responsible for fixing issues related to it. thanks for all your efforts, you have a fantastic product.
