Need help: PVR 350+150 no signal on tv

Hi,
I'm new here with this great stuff and need your help pls.

I have PVR 350 + 150 installed.
I have antenna plugged in PVR150 and can see live-tv on pc-monitor (hardware-decoder set to "none").
When i set hardware-decoder to PVR 350 and plug it to my TV via scart i only get a testscreen with color-bars on TV
If i then start the GB-PVR programm (not the service, its also running all the time) then i get the GB-PVR screen on my tv.

Is the GB-PVR Application really needed to get tv out of PVR 350 to TV ?
I don't want (and can't) log me into windows for proper usage.

Please can someone help me?

Yes you need to be running the GBPVR.exe client application to see the interface on the PVR350. If you enable 'direct access to hauppauge remote' you can minimize it on your PC desktop so that it doesnt interfere with other things you're trying to do on your PC.

If you want it to run without logging in, you could look at one of the many free utilities which will run an exe as a windows service.
