Thanks, Chris. Didn't see that.

Still have got something wrong as I get a "Request cannot be processed" message.

My URL is:- ttp://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/GODZILLA:mvpmc/gbpvr.cgi

This is taken from my GB-PVR.html file.

I have triple checked the entry and can't see an error. I can see the underscore so I am sure that is OK. gbpvr.cgi does exist in my mvpmc share folder.

Sorry to be a nuisance.

PS I had to drop the leading 'h' to get the url printed in full. It is in the web service entry.

@Lindsay you are right I can't get this to work anymore either I will have to play a bit

@arztde vnc and especially mouse support are not high priorities. My project mvpmc for the MVP has had VNC for many years and I don't think anyone uses it. It's really a novelty for me.

Lindsay the best I can do is suggest this in gbpvr.cgi

Code:
cp /opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/GODZILLA:mvpmc/gbpvr.cgi /opt/sybhttpd/default/

And then edit the Media source to be simply

http://localhost:8883/gbpvr.cgi

Is there anyway to turn logging on or anything to spot where "request cannot be processed" comes from??

No, if I had that much control of the script, it would be working . It will pretty much always be a problem with the the work name in GB-PVR.html, the mount, or a file that was edited with a non-linux editor. The Network Browser method will typically work because I can eliminate these problems.

I am planning to hookup my PCH A-110 to my bedroom HDTV. Since there isnt a network outlet nearby, the PCH will be connected to a pair of Homeplug AV adapters which in turn is connected to my home router.

I have MAC address filtering configured for my home router and had noticed that when I hooked up my Tivo to the home network via the Homeplug AV, I had to enter the MAC address of the Homeplug AV adapter into the router instead of the MAC address of the Tivo. Would I do something similar when following the instructions in the dummies installation guide, i.e. the MAC address of the Homeplug AV adapter? Or would I enter the MAC address of the PCH even though it is connected to the home network via the homeplug adapter?

Thanks,

That is more a function of the HomePlug bridge than anything else. Mine shows the MAC of the MVP I have on the other end.

If there is any doubt, you can connect and you will be able to get the MAC address that GBPVR sees in the MVP logs (the NMT uses the MVP logs) and if it is different just modify your config.xml setting to get the PCH enhancements.

The homeplugs I use show the MAC address of the remote devices.
You may find something in setup to tweak this??
What happens if you want more than one remote MVP/NMT if it only reports the MAC address of the local homeplug.
