I seem to have similar symptoms as persim in the previous post. I have all the most recent software. I configured HDHomeRun to be application:custom (though GB-PVR exists). I did the registry settings for the filters. I updated the bda.ini with this

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1015C32D-0]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
;TUNING_SPECIAL=1
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1015C32D-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1015C32D-1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
;TUNING_SPECIAL=1
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1015C32D-1
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

during the scan, channels will report power and quality that are strong, but the channel is not added to the map. I am using xmltv and have EPG sources, and they are checked off before entering the scan. I have run the re-register filters script as suggested to persim. Like him, my setup works fine from VLC. Any ideas? My log is attached.

Quick question: Are you using OTA or cable? If cable, make sure you remove the semicolon (";") from the TUNING_SPECIAL line and use the QAM.ini manager to create a qam.ini with center frequencies. I have not tested OTA on the HDHomeRun in a while but I'll create a quick alternate all.ini for you to try in case it still requires offset frequencies. I'll have it posted shortly.

I also updated the GBPVR instructions in the last couple of days. You need to first set the application to "GBPVR", apply the changes, then set it to "Custom" and do the registry entries.

The reason for this is that a couple of registry keys are created when setting the application to GBPVR that are needed, including the ones you edit. It then needs to be set to "Custom" so that the registry changes we make will stick. Those registry changes are necessary so that GBPVR can provide custom filtering so that we can limit the traffic from the HDHomeRun. This feature is new to GBPVR 1.3.7 so and the HDHomeRun Setup has not yet been modified to take this into account, which is why we need to use "Custom" temporarily.

Try this all.ini and see if it makes a difference (if you are using OTA that is). Just place it in the GBPVR\BDA\ATSC folder.

I had originally selected GBPVR, and then changed to Custom and then updated the Registry. The registry has the entries as described.

I am configuring it for OTA ATSC, so I did not remove the ; from the bda.ini

I tried the all.ini but I see the same problem.

attached the log files below.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

Do you have any software firewalls running?

here is a screencap of the channel scan, where it should be selecting a channel.

BTW, when is the website coming back online?

Create a c:\temp directory, create a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPsiProcessing=2 (DWORD) registry setting, do a scan, then zip and attach the c:\temp\psi.log file. After this, delete the registry setting. Sub might be able to see something in the log. Otherwise, you may need to record the stream for sub when he gets back home next month so that he can take a look at it to see why GBPVR isn't finding anything.

I think Mixman is working on something but it probably won't be up until sub gets back.

That setting was HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPsiProcessing=2
