I've been trying to get another tv card running and in the process lost the menu of completed recordings. The files of recorded shows are still in their directory, but, not listed under the ready list. I get the message no shows are ready to watch. I know there are around 12 there.

Is there a way to recreate that list?

Or, is there an application that will play the shows using the comskip files that were created?

Everynight when an EPG update is done GBPVR creates a recording-dump.xml. You should be able to import your recordings from it using the config.exe under plugins/import recordings.

That's another problem. I used YAPI2XML and right now that's not working. Maybe that's what created the loss of the ready recording list. Too many things going on right now.

When I try to run update, I get a Run time error 13: Type mismatch . If I try to Config YAPI2XML for my zip code I get Runtime error '9': subscript out of range.

Tomorrow I plan to try mc2xml and see how I do with that. but, in the meantime, I wouldn't mind watching what I have.

My current scheduled recordings still show up. My last good schedule download from YAPI2XML was 11-25 around 3pm EST.

I just tried the import recordings from the plug ins menu and that brought back the list.
Thanks!

My jubilation was premature. Not listed were the recordings for the last couple days.

Is there any way to get them all?

I am not sure I understand how to do this.

Is it as simple as having vdImport shortcut on my desktop and dragging files that don't show up onto it? Kind of like running comskip manually?

Or, do I run this from the cmd line?
Would it look like this: vidImport.exe D:\TV\ xmlin=none import=on

If I understand that will look in the TV directory on D, create a new video import file and automatically load it into GBPVR.

Does it matter which directory vidImport.exe resides in?

I've not used it but what you describe (running from command line) looks right to me.

Does it matter which directory vidImport.exe resides in?
I don;t think so.

the support thread for this util, is here. It may provide you with more info.

I tried this from the drag and drop on the desktop, from the plug-in tab in config, from "Run" and from the cmd prompt. Each time I got a crash. Under the command prompt, I got a message that "Could not locate 'System.Core, version=3.5.0.0'
There was more, but, I guess that was the critical thing.
So, unfortunately it didn't work for me.
Is there a way to play the files with GBPVR from their directory? I don't save them. I watch them and delete them, but, I like to take advantage of comskip.

just add your recordings folder to your list of video directories in config and you can watch them through the standard videos plugin.
