Scheduled Recordings

If Im watching live tv during a time when a scheduled recording is due to start, what will happen? Will it stop the live tv and start recording or will it cancel the scheduled recording?

The recording service will begin recording your scheduled program. Assuming you only have one tuner card, this will cause your Live TV viewing to freeze. Pressing the Esc key (or the Menu button on the remote) will take you back to GB-PVR's main menu.

This is sometimes indistinguishable from when GB-PVR stops live playback for other reasons, such as running out of disk space.

Personally, I would like to see the program automatically take the user back to the main menu with a pop-up window explaining that the recording service has taken over the capture source to record a scheduled program myself.
