One user reported that they had this slow-motion audio, but never had the problem again after setting the "force sound card to reinit after seek/pause" option in AC3Filter.

Quote: I'm seeing a similar problem with the GBPVR Native TS Parser. It always connects two Audio Output pins to my ffdshow which causes the SPDIF to get locked via the AAC connection and not AC3, so I get no sound.

I solved that by changing the default audio renderer in the system tab of AC3filter config to use default wave out (instead of default directsound)

Great. If I get some other confirmations, I'll add a post to the survival guide.

I've had this slow-mo audio problem off and on as well. It only happens when I start playing a recording; if I can get past the first five seconds or so without it happening, the rest of the recording plays fine (though sometimes I have to exit and restart playback more than 10 times before I get lucky).

I do have AC3 Filter on my current XP Pro build, but I am 100% certain I had the same problem on my Vista build which never had AC3 Filter installed. That said, I will try the setting mentioned above and report results.

I was getting the slow motion audio problem but didn't have AC3 filter installed. So I downloaded and installed AC3Filter, set it to "force sound card to reinit after seek/pause" and all was good again. It would be great if you could add it to the survival guide as it took a me a little while to track down the info in the right thread.

I'd be interested to see logs from a machine exhibiting the problem, but without ac3filter.

I did a Quick Record of 'Killer Quake' and set the audio decoder option in Config to be the 'InterVideo NonCss Audio Decoder for Hauppauge'. Admittedly not the best decoder but the only other one apart from MPA that I've got. I don't have AC3 Filter.

Video was again fine but audio was in slow mo.
