Hi

I have been struggling to get recordings with MDAPI working. Everything works great when live preview mode is enabled, but recordings do not record & if I disable live preview mode then I get nothing either, however FTA channels work fine.

I am using the latest versions of GBPVR & MDAPI. I have also tried loads of different decoder combination's without any luck.

Here are my logs.

many thanks

Before anybody looks through my logs I have realised I did not have a mux installed. I am still having problems, but I am going to play a little more before asking for help again.

Thanks

Do you see the MDAPI tray icon when recording? If so, does it show your plugins loaded?

If the tray icon isnt listed, your may need to got in the 'GB-PVR Recording Service' service settings and enable the 'allow service to interact with desktop' setting.

I was not getting the MDAPI plugin icon so I have enabled the interact with desktop as suggested. The MDAPI icon is now there, but now I dont get any ECM info to vplug.

So I am stuck again.

Cheers

Try running ReRegisterFilters.bat. This filter its not finding is the one that is responsible for telling the MDAPI filter which pids to monitor.

Yep that got it thanks very much.

I have had a search through the forums, but can't find out how many tuners GBPVR supports eith the MDAPI plugin.

Is there a limit to the number of tuners that can be used at the same time?

thanks
