I've been using moviewiz for a while. I like many things about it. Just recently my wife wanted to go thru it to lookup what the descriptions for movies that I have were. I know what all the movies are about, but she didn't. When she went to look, the only description was the "tagline" that I could see. However, the tagline is useless, the description are too generic. For example, star wars is like " Boy looks to become man in space" or something equally useless (lol).

Anyhow, am I doing something wrong, is the source for this data useless, or is there something more to be done?

If you go 'into' a movie, by clicking ok to get the popup, you can scroll down and get the actual description. Generally, it is a good description, sometimes it gets cut off. You can edit it, but I think the problem is more that while scrolling thru the movies, you see the Tagline first, and the description is off screen.

(At least that has been my experience.)

I haven't had much time to play with my setup, but I would love to have the description closer to the top, or have some flexibility in the order of what info appears.

Also note in the config program, you can change the order that the elements are displayed on the overview screen (ie main screen) and the detail screen. So, you could move the description up to be the first thing displayed.

I will have to check that out, didn't know. Thought tag line was all you got.
