I thought you could stream LiveTV from the web interface? I can't seem to find it.

browse to the epg. click on a current show title. a pop up will open giving you three buttons at the bottom. record, close and stream now. (the latter being the one you want obviously)

I just get record and close as well - vlc installed and working from recordings.

it's working here. are you looking under the record and close boxes? I have to scroll down a couple of clicks in the popup window to see the stream button.

Note the scrolled right down to the bottom.. And it is an available channel and broadcasting now.

Is VLC in the normal install location, or some other place?
If it's somehwere else, you'll have to adjust that location in the EWA config tab.

Do you see the stream button for previously recorded programs in the manage recordings screen?
(also, what version of VLC have you got - I think UJB said that the new version was causing problems for streaming - so go for v 0.92 )
