TV Listings 2 - Support Thread

Hi,

I'm having some problems with dates in TVRecordings. I often leave PVRX2 open for days at a time, but TVRecordings doesn't seem to know when the date has changed. Consequently I often appear to have completed recordings from the future - the recording is done, but the day that it is from still shows at 'Tomorrow'.

Would it be possible to have an option to just show the day and date of a recording, rather than making it relative to the current day?

I defined a custom guide for TV Listings which only has 4 channels in it. I have TV Listings configured to display 7 channels at a time.

When displaying the custom guide, TV Listings shows three additional channels (without the channel or logo being displayed for the additional channels) which are not in the custom list.

try to un-check "Use friendly date formats" in the TV Listings config section. Besides that, I'll see what I can do that the date-strings are always correct for the next version. Thanks for the report.

Here is a PrintScreen of the Listings. The Guide "East Feeds" has four stations in it and TV Listings is configured to display 7 stations.

In case you are wondering why I have so few stations in a custom guide, my cable company picks the programming for these stations off of the East Coast feeds while all the other stations are from the West Coast feeds. To see the "prime time" show schedule I have to look three hours earlier for these stations than I do for the others.

I have a question about tv recordings. Does that come built into the tvlistings files? Is it a new plugin or does it enhance the existing recordings? Is it on the menu or do you call it from TV listings? How do I install it?

Sorry, but I was unsure about those things from the wiki and from the 5-6 forum pages I read.

I installed the newest tvlistings and when I get into the menu and pick tv listings I get nothing at all. The only way I can tell something has changed is that the next recording is overlayed at the bottom. I'm using community skin btw. HELP I'm totally freaking out, no EPG now.

You mean when you go into tvlistings, the EPG is blank?
do you have a working epg in the standard tvguide?
check all the settings for tvlistings in config.exe.
try blue skin to eliminate any possible skinning issues (although it works fine in CS3 on my pc)

check the log files to see if there is any useful info or errors.

No I mean it doesn't do anything..the screen dims a little and then nothing, back to menu.

I did a system restore and I am now back up again to the old version, but I wanted to know what I did wrong? I didn't get an empty epg, it seemed like it didn't even go there.

I unzipped all the stuff, replaced existing files, etc. What could it be? I am using community skin, but I don't think it was a skin issue.

I would expect there to be some errors in one of the pvr.exe log files.
