Nothing really springs to mind. I'm not sure how the reader could be source of your stuttering. This sort of things would typically be caused by decoders. Maybe try other decoders, or possibly other video renderers, to see if it behaves any better.

Its hard tell with out the file it front of me. Maybe see if you're able to reproduce this problem with a slightly bigger part of the file, and then make that file available to me. There is no known issues that would account for this.

Ok, I'll try to generate a larger file. I just tried a 2min clip and that was also fine. Its the full 45 min file it seems to be unhappy about.

Regarding codecs...(you are right, again ) it never ceases to amaze me how flakey the interfaces between DS filters must be...I have just installed a newer version of CoreAVC (was on 1.7 I think, now 1.8.5) and hey presto...perfect video. Why? Who knows, 1.7 was fine for Haali and playback everywhere other than GBPVR...but the demux and the codec can't be talking the same language some times. Trial and error! So, except for the dodgy test file the other TS files I've just tried all seem fine (both H264 and MPEG2s). Looks like I got lucky.

At least I know that for really bad files like the test one I can pull out TSdemux and MKV merge and get a playable file for GBPVR.

I tried this too. It also just fine here using either the CoreAVC or Cyberlink H264 decoder.

Sticking with the Cyberlink H.264 decoder, can you check if all the video renderer options result in the same lack of video?

I tried all video renders. Same result.

I include my log file in case you can spot anything different to your setup.

This is fairly normal and nothing to worry about, it just means one of decoders in the graph is incapable of saving and restoring its state when requested. Its quite common for .grf files to have problems loading.

DanIrl, have seen mentions of some very new versions of Cyberlink H.264 decoder that is not usable in external apps. I wonder if you have one of these? Do you have any other H.264 decoders you can try?

Are you able to create a graph in GraphEdit that uses this decoder and the Haali splitter?

I tried your file here, with CoreAVC video decoder and AC3Filter to try to get as close to your setup as I could, and it played just fine for me in GB-PVR.

In GraphEdit you can insert the 'GBPVR TS Reader' filter, select your file, insert the 'MPEG-2 Demultiplexer' filter, connect the output of the reader to the input of the demux. It should now have created several output pins on the demux. Next insert the 'AC3Filter' and 'CoreAVC Video Decoder' filters. Right click on the AC3 pin on the demux, and select render pin. Do the same for the video pin. You should now have a playable graph using the GB-PVR reader.

I tried this aswell but when I click play the @ActiveMovie windows@ flashes for a second but it does not even play. Clicking play button has no effect!

Yes I have the CoreAVC full edition decoder. I had previously uninstalled haali and dvbpump filters in case they were causing any side effects. I will retry with haali. If I try to render the file normally with graphedit, it uses a nero splitter and video/audio is fine.

If you select the CoreAVC decoder, does it work in GB-PVR?

No... neither decoder works in GBPVR with internal ts reader.
