Thanks everyone! worked like a charm. I updated to the latest community skin and that worked. I thought I had already done that, but looks like not.

if you want to select a button with a mouse-click you have to use a double-click instead. is this intended or can the buttons be changed to react to a single click?

zap30 Wrote:Hi

I have installed TV listings on my main GBPVR server & it works well. I have also installed it on my client pc. When I go into TV Recordings the shows are listed fine, but there is no option to play the recording. Recordings play fine on the server & also play fine on the original Recordings plugin.

Am I missing a setup here somewhere?

Thanks

if you set the same recordings / livetv directories on the server and client, no "path-translation" is necessary and playback works.

e.g set recordings-directory to \\your-pc\recordings\Dat-Recordings on both client and server.

I have a show that was recorded on 1/2/2009. When I delete it, then exit TV Recordings, then enter TV Recordings, then exit TV Recordings, then enter TV Recordings, the deleted show is in the list again. I have to follow that exact sequence for the deleted show to reappear. This hasn't happened with any shows recorded in 2008. Bug???

reproduce the behavior, then zip and attach your pvrx2.exe.log and your gbpvrrecordingservice.exe.log files and I have a look.

Does it occur for this recording only or are other recordings affected, too? Are you able to delete the recording using the default recordings plugin?

Thanks for the update Alibert, its exactly as I expected it and much appreciated in the family.

When I change listingsminutes from 180 to 120 I get on the screen for the rightmost times: time@5 and time@6, and still 180 minutes worth of EPG data. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,
OrakelJos Wrote:When I change listingsminutes from 180 to 120 I get on the screen for the rightmost times: time@5 and time@6, and still 180 minutes worth of EPG data. Am I doing something wrong?

both the default "blue" and "slick" skins are already displaying 120 minutes, so I guess you're using another skin.

Anyway, besides changing the "ListingsMinutes" parameter, there is another setting that should be changed when you'd like to display another timespan. Here is a snippet of the blue skin:
Code:
<CompositeImage name="TimeLine" size="100,4">
      <!-- supported parameters are: @statusHighlighting, @visibleDate1, @visibleDate2, @visibleDate3, @timeN -->
      <DrawRect loc="0,0" size="100,100" fillColor="#CC000000"/>
      <DrawText text="@visibleDate3" loc="0,5" size="14,90" textStyle="ListingStyle" align="Right" valign="Center"/>
      <DrawImage filename="@statusHighlighting" loc="15,65" size="80,35"/>
      <DrawText text="@time1" loc="15,5" size="20,90" textStyle="ListingStyle" align="Left" valign="center"/>
      <DrawText text="@time2" loc="35,5" size="20,90" textStyle="ListingStyle" align="Left" valign="center"/>
      <DrawText text="@time3" loc="55,5" size="20,90" textStyle="ListingStyle" align="Left" valign="center"/>
      <DrawText text="@time4" loc="75,5" size="20,90" textStyle="ListingStyle" align="Left" valign="center"/>
    </CompositeImage>

Basically you need to calculate the position of the "@timeN" parameters according to the size of the grid, so that the drawn times are aligned with the programmes. In the above example, the grid has a width of 80%, and the left border is at 15% of the screen. So, the first time ("@time1") is drawn at 15%, too. The following times are drawn with a distance of 80%/4 = 20% to each other, which results in the values of 35%, 55% and 75% in the above example.

I hope this explains it a bit, but I think it's quite easy if you understand the skinning basics.

I am using the Community MCE skin. That is using 180 minutes. Will try to change according to your instructions.
