miochza: what do you mean by the priority? As far as I knew you had a set of channels per capture source (defined by the EPG of the recording source). You can't have channels shared by two seperate capture sources. So you can just pick the channel on the capture source you want to view. i.e. if you pick a software recorder channel - you watch via software recorder, if you pick a PVR 150MCE channel - then you watch via your PVR 150MCE.

ooooo so thats how it works... haha.... I had no clue. But if both sources are using the same cable input, there should be double for each channel? Cool. Thanks buddy.
hrm, i know that if you import the same xml files using xmltv that it should match the channel id and create duplicate mappings. I might investigate how this works. You may well be right in the fact that there are two capture sources that can service a given channel. I will investigate
Yea, i can't get it to make duplicate channels. It would be really cool, because then I could ensure that a certain program gets recorded by a specific capture source. It is defaulting to the SoftwareRecorder, when I want that to be secondary...
what EPG source are you using? if you're using xmltv then you'd have to edit each channel's unique identifier to be different to make gb-pvr make a seperate channel.
I have 3 capture sources. What I have done is create three xmltv files, one for each. Because xmltv uses the standard display-names every time it is is run, I have written a small app that parses through and gives new names. So for example I then have one EPG file saying BBC1 SKY, the second BBC1 SAT, the 3rd BB1 DIG. That way I can chose the source easily. A small batch file and it should be automated.
