I like to have the movies sorted by creation date. That way I do not have to scroll through to find the new entries as they are at the top.

But it is useless in the 1.0.22 version.
This because Movie #1 - alphabetically - has focus, even if the list is sorted by date. So it starts somewhere in the middle of the date sorted list.

Not sure what you mean. I think you are talking about the plugin, not the MovieWizManager. Either way, when I change to date order, the list is sorted, and is positioned on the 1st element. When in Title order, the first entry is the 1st alphabetic title, in my case 12 Monkeys. When in date order, the 1st entry is The Shadow.

Am I missing something?

Yes I talk about the moviewiz plugin and not the manager part of it.

The list sorting is ok and works fine. The trouble is the movie that gets selected and highlighted. That is always the first one in alphabetic order.

So no matter how I sort, "10 Things I Hate About You" is always selected.
Either first in the list or somewhere in the middle.

I can't seem to recreate. Every time I change sort order, the list is positioned at the first element, regardless of sort order.

Is anyone else having this problem?

OK. Just weird then.
On the other hand it is not when I change sort order. It is when I start the program with date as sort order I have problems. I can't remember what happens when I change (I selldom do). Worth a try...

Ah, ok, I may not have tested that scenario. I will take a look at it tonight.

Ok, I think I figured out what is going on.

At some point, someone asked to have MovieWiz remember what the last played entry was.(ie. Category and List entry). This was done so that the next day, when MovieWiz started up, it would be positioned on the category and entry that they ended with.

To enable this feature, you simply select "None. Remember Last Played" in the default startup category on the 'Plugin' tab in config program. To disable, pick a default startup category.

Not in my case...
Always had "All Movies" as default category.
I tried to change. Both to "None..." and some other category and started gbpvr. When I had another category (where "10..." wasn't listed) I got another title.
Went back to "All movies" and there was Heath Ledger and "10..." again.
