Hi all,
I've tried searching for this particular problem, but am not sure if it's related to a time-shift problem some others have reported.
Essentially, with HTSC recorded programs, when I attempt to fast forward at a certain point, weird things happen. Sometimes the program will fast forward *really* fast (this occasionally happens on its own-with no user input). Other times what will happen is the program will rewind! Other things I have noticed is that the time-stamps for the beginning and end of the program are off - obviously I would assume the beginning time to be 00:00:00, but sometimes it's several hours "off". Also, the end time (which would be static, ostensibly) changes based on how far into the program I go.
I'm really not sure what's up with this. My wife thinks its the hauppage remote, but we don't have any problems with video files I've downloaded - just programs we've recorded off the air.
Anyway, here's my setup.
Athalon XP 3000+
2GB DDR 333
Hauppage HVR-1600
ATI 3450 256
GB-PVR Version 1.3.7
Any suggestions or ideas?
