Are there any plugins listed that shouldn't be?

Just really checking this stuff out today. Thanks it's a great help and it looks like we've cut the TI's down by about a third Cool

My only query would be Phone. I haven't done a TI for phone before, and it appears to to be a legacy plugin. Is there a need for this one.

Cheers

Edit: I moved ComTweak to system TI (?)

Sorry completely missed this one. This is low down on the list really, but I was tinkering with it and didn't get very far.

It would be good if the default plugins P/M/V showed a media folder graphic for folders and media icon for files. In the attached screenies below the first shows the folders with media related folder graphics and files with media related graphics. When a folder is selected (screen 2) there is a parent folder graphic and media file graphics, which are covered with file images when available.

In this setup, I think we'd only need media/folder and media/icon graphics in the skin plugin (with transparent options). The no cover art situation would be covered this way also, if there is no file image the media (MP3) icon would be shown.

There isn't an immediate need but it would be nice to have the full set.

Okay so the whole folder/icon thing took me way too long to get Rolleyes. But I think I've got there.

How about the plugin has FileIcons which loads:

Music-file.png
Video-file.png

and FolderIcons which loads:

Folder.png
Folder-Up.png
Music-Folder.png
Picture-Folder.png
Video-Folder.png

*with transparent options

We remove the "<DrawImage filename="..\_CoreImages\IconView_FolderVideo.png" loc="25,25" size="50,50"/>" reference form the default P/M/V plugins and let the hard coded stuff take care of it. That way we cut down on the number of folder graphics in the _CoreImages folder and include enough graphical options, so people can choose the combination they prefer.

Look at the section for List Items.

I think you missed some posts about this. My appologies, I'll make sure I PM you about changes like this. My bad.

I also made the change to the baseskin.xml file on the SVN already.

I've added most of the graphics to the Resources folder. It'd be great if you guys could check them out and see if naming and folder structure are okay.

I've a couple of queries:
  • There was a bit of discussion about "NavigationalIndicators", so I'm wondering if I just do various versions of - Up.png, Down.png, Left.png and right.png will that cover it?
  • Check the "FolderIcons" and see if we need any "MediaFolderIcons"?
  • Do I need to do any graphics for "ListButtons"

Cheers

McBainUK, my apologies this one genuinely slipped my mind :o

When I was doing up the mainmenu formatting you guys expressed an interest in having the logo in the bottom right of the mainmenu screen selectable. So I changed the reference (in the xml) and graphic (in the _coreimages folder) to Logo.png and added a couple of logo's to the resource folder "...Resources\Graphics\Logo" (we could name this mainmenu logo either ??? as currently this is only where this graphics is used).

I should have mentioned this earlier, but I think "Logo" needs to be added as an editable option for the skin plugin, I don't see it referenced.
