Last nights recordings went well....no 0 length files anyway.
Tonight will be the real test with 9 hours of recordings occurring between 8:00-11:00.
I am thinking that perhaps that setting got turned on when the auto-update for HDHR ran a couple of weeks ago and brought me up to the 20081231 firmware/software.
Not much recording has been happening until recently so this problem may have been masked by lack of recordings until now....
I'll post my results tomorrow or after recordings finish tonight.
