I'm trying to call ZProcess via the commandline. I need a template of "Trans2MVP" and a Profile of "2mpg". I saw in the documentation where I can pass the Profile setting as a switch, but I don't see how to pass the Template value. What is the best way to set the Template value so that it will persist across calls to the application, or pass it via commandline?

You don't call the template. It's designed to set the values for the profiles.

Basically, you make sure that a profile is set the way you want (and you may use the template to start you in that direction) and then call the profile in the commandline.

But,...., what version are you on? I can't quite remember but I think I was/am having trouble with calling profiles with the command line.

I looked into it and think the prerelease is functioning correctly...

That would make sense then. I'm using the latest from the WIKI - 2.0.0.278.

Let me see if I can find a copy of the pre-release version you mentioned. If it will work then I'll stick with it.

Pre-release version didn't work at all. Maybe I did something wrong. The strange thing about this is that when I was using the latest version, I had one batch of videos that I processed successfully. I'm not exactly what went wonky after that. If the command line functionality could be fixed in a future release, that would be greatly appreciated! I'll keep tinkering with it.

I tested the pre-release version manually, but I may have hosed things up. I deleted the old copies and re-installed the new ones. Everything seems to be working ok now. I'll try doing the last batch of files that did not work correctly to see if they will transcode properly now.
