I had to manually schedule a program (via TV Recordings) because the downloaded schedule data for the program from Schedules Direct was wrong.

The scheduled recording does appear in the Pending list of TV Recordings but TV Listings doesn't show the manually scheduled program in the Listings grid or any indication that something is scheduled for that time period.

I suspect a diffferent mechanism than via the EPG is used to implement the manually scheduled program but it would be nice to see an indication in TV Listings. Is there anything you can do?

in the tv listings plugin, there should be an indication for the scheduled timeframe below the timeline, above the grid.

I just tried an experiment and it did show in the area above the grid that there was a recording scheduled. This is what I was expecting to see before.

For some reason when I originally posted this, the manual recording did not show any activity above the grid area.

I'll just write it off as a hiccup unless I can come up with what conditions caused the manual recording to not affect the area above the grid.

Using the latest TV Listings:
When I am setting up a recording, I select "Update" to add it. But the cursor moves from "Update" to "Close".

The update still gets done, but it's weird seeing the cursor move...

Question. Is it possible for a TV Listings guide to default to whatever channel you are currently on. Right on, on my system at least, it is always on channel one at the beginning. Thank you!

I think you're talking about the schedule popup when updating a scheduled recording. In deed it does some kind of re-initialization when the popup closes. I'll fixed the changing selection for the next release.

I have no possibility to get the "current" gbpvr channel from inside of the plugin, so there's nothing I could do. But you can change the channel order of each defined guide in the configuration form of the tv listings plugin.

need some info on panels...specifically recordings panel...
all i see is 'next recording', but i'd love to see what's recording now if possible..
and maybe next underneath that...
what do the @nowNextSoonNamePeriod stuff mean? should it cycle thru now, next, soon?
actually on mine, it shows what's on one show after next! not actual next...no cycling either..tried config options seem to have no effect..

completely forgot about this feature! [busy putting same info up on my vfd..lol]

the plugin should display in-progress recordings in the panel, too (titled "Recording Now: ..."). And it should cycle through the upcoming recordings in the "recording soon" timeframe (24 hrs by default). If you have a lot of recordings scheduled, it may take some time until the current recording shows up again in the panel.
