I has only just dawned on me how much I use GBPVR as an everyday, reliable tool to watch and record TV. Over the Christmas and New year season I scheduled LOADS of recordings, mostly HD - and I just added them up to 593gb! Not one failed recording, in fact the one glitch was a program that started 10 minutes late and I missed the end.
Like only the best software and engineering, you stop thinking about the workings of it and just enjoy the results...
'course we all have fun getting decoders and Windows working (an oxymoron?) properly , but GBPVR itself is really very good...

Let me guess, Wallace and Gromit by anychance ?.

I agree though, I have been using GBPVR for over 2 years and its just become THE way to watch TV. I'm still using version 98.13b because everything I wanted worked fine at that version and the WAF (wife acceptance factor) increased the more I just left it alone.

I am now moving on to 1.3.11 and NMTs to make the most of HD telly.
