I've changed the MPEG-2 Playback to pretty much everything on the list to try and figure out the audio problem, but no go. Tv3 and C4 sound perfect, but the others, they just keep skipping and dropping out.

The Monogram AAC Decoder must have installed correctly, as its on the drop down list...

There isnt really much else you can change. Those H264 and HE-AAC decoders are pretty what I'm using, and I dont have audio skipping problem. I'm not really sure what to suggest.

can you suggest any other tuner software to see if the same issue occurs? Quickplay picks up the signals, but in Analogue form, and Windows Media Centre doesnt detect anything.

did you try changing the audio renderer? mostly the directshow, and direct sound card items..

oh and check the lastgraph.grf [open,or read with notepad] to be sure that it's actually using the filters you expect..

other than the renderer, nothing in mpeg2 section should affect h264/heaac recordings..

Since you're on Vista, also try using the EVR video renderer. Its required for getting Hardware Acceleration working on videocards that support it.
