Hi.

Here is situation:
I create sheduled recordings, then my HTPC goes in to sleep mode.
When it is time, HTPC wake up to start record.
HTPC is recoding.
Now if i put TV (monitor) on, i only see black screen instead of desktop.
I need to wait until recoring is finished, and HTPC go in to sleep mode, then manualy wake up - now desktop apear.

The question is - is that normal? I there a way how to use HTPC even if sheduled recording?

I am using XP SP3 on Intel HD4500

Thanks for any tips!

PS: sorry for my english.

yes it's normal. there's two tyoes of wake. wake for user (eg you) and wake for internal process (eg it doesn't need the monitor).
Usually just pressing some keys on the keyboard or moving the mouse will start the monitor - maybe check you have the keyboard and/or mouse set to allow waking the machine in device manager -> power options.

your english is much better than my czech.

Thanks for answer.

Problem is that i do not have mouse and keyboard connected to my HTPC... And pressing keys on my remote didn't do anything :/

I will try to assign refresh explorer.exe on my remote...

It is a Windows thing... Have a read of this thread which may have enough to sort it out. "fullresume" may do the trick.

Thanks man.

Shouldn't be such function added directly to GB-PVR?
