I am using an older version of GBPVR (I can upgraded if needed). My setup is one hauppauge 250 and one hauppauge 150. This has worked fine on this version for about a year.

Recently everytime my hauppauge 150 records it creates a 0 byte file. The hauppauge 250 records fine. I have restarted, re installed the filters.

Attached are the logs for gbpvr and filter check.

The latest failed recording was Local 6 First News.

I have deleted the capture device and reinstalled it in config.

I tried the tuning assistant picked my 150 and saw channels.

Hi Jorm.

There is nothing particularly obvious in the logs. It looks like the device numbers are correct, and the devices have hooked up correctly, and the graph starts with no errors returned. This makes me think the device is delivering no data.

Any chance you've got WinTV installed? Can you check if it manages to record a non-zero file?

I have wintv installed however when I run it it grabs my first board which is my 250 and that works fine. I have not figured out how to tell it to use another capture card. Any idea where that option is?

I have tried reinstalling the drivers did not help.

I haven't changed anything in the setup when that started occurring besides installing a windows service pack.

Unfortunately I dont think you can tell it which to use. I think it uses the last one installed?

You might need to try pulling the PVR250 out briefly, then see if WinTV or GB-PVR can record. Then try going with both cards together again to see if anything changes.
