After upgrading to 2.8 I get no grid in the TV Listings. See attached screenshot.

Also, if the TV listings plugin is enabled PVRX2 with not exit properly. If I exit from the menu the UI closes, but if I look i nthe taks manager the PVRX2 process is still there. Disable the TV Listings plugin and PVRX2 will exit cleanly.

No Problems with TV Recordings.

Logs attached.

Help greatly appreciated and if it cant be fixed quickly a link to v2.7 so I can revert back to that since like an idiot I didnlt back it up before installing the new version.

Hi,

the only error I'm seeing is the following in the pvrx2.exe-native logfile:
Quote:2009-02-22 01:50:22.249 VERBOSE m_pD3DDev->Present() failed
Error code : 80004005
E_FAIL
An undetermined error occurred

I don't know what's going wrong there, sorry. You can send me a private message with your e-mail address, and I'll send you the previous version. Could you zip and attach your gbpvr.db3 database file so that I can try and reproduce your problem?

the skin adjustments you've done in the "menu\skin.xml" file are correct, but they're only for the panel to show up on the main screen - not for the tv recordings plugins itself.
Please zip and attach your pvrx2.exe.log file and I have a look.

So I went back and reinstalled the plugin to see if that would help. Now I can't see either plugin in the config app. I've double-checked the correct plugin files are in the appropriate places, but still nothing in the config app. Thanks for your help.

Edit: I'm an idiot, "plugins enabled" tic wasn't selected. All is good.

so are you still having your problem with the tv recordings plugin or not? If so, please ensure that "plugins enabled" is checked, than reproduce the error (i.e. try to enter the tv recordings plugin), the zip and attach your logfiles.

I was mistaken. TV Recordings isn't working either. If I try to watch a recorded show I just get bounced back to the PXVX2 main menu.

The PVRX2 builtin Guide and Recordings plugins are still working fine.

Attach during which the TV Recordings fails.

Uisge,

I just saw in the second logs that you're still using gbpvr 1.3.7. I think that it will work when you're upgrading to 1.3.11, as sub has introduced some events that the plugin uses to determine when the application startup is complete, and so it's safe to access the database to load the listings.
I didn't think about that when releasing so I didn't mention the incompatibility with the old version.

Yes I am still using 1.3.7 as there was nothing in 1.3.11 that I needed.

I'll upgrade and see if it makes a difference.
