I am using an OTA antenna with a Hauppauge 2250 dual tuner card. The channel scan using the "Map digital channels to EPG channels" button wasn't picking up some of the stations that I could get using the tuner card software, so I entered the Tuning Requests for those channels manually using the other channels as a reference.
Now I can watch all the manually entered channels in Live TV, but when I record on some of those channels, a zero byte .mpg file is produced.
I've checked that both tuners Tuning request fields match for those channels since it looks like tuner #2 is used by default for live TV, and tuner #1 is the default for recording.
I can record successfully from all other channels. Does anyone know of anything with the channel mappings that differs between live TV and recordings?

Have you applied all the patches from the survival guide thread?

Thanks for your help! I had missed that last patch in the survival thread. With the file updates I was able to pick up the missing channels through the scan. I had one of the parameters in the Tuning Request incorrect since I just had to guess before.
Now the recordings for those channels are working, as well as Live TV.
The config app kept closing halfway through the scan, but I was able to pick up the new channels before it died. The scan crashing isn't a problem for me since I have all my channels now, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone else sees the same thing.
Thanks for the quick responses in these forums!
