When I am at the main menu and press "Live TV" nothing happens! I mean nothing at all...!

I got a PVR150 MCE.. and I think I've set the config completely correct. I use an external decoder connected with a RCA (composite) cable to the TVcard...

I can watch TV in Hauppage WinTV... But then there is a slight delay, thats why I'm trying to get this thing working. I got a tip from a buddy that GBPVR could deal the thing without delay. Example if you want to play video game on PC display.

How do I get the Live TV working?

Tell me how I can give you more info! Smile

Did you setup your capture source? If you cant see your channels listed in the capture source then live tv isnt going to work. A common mistake is to chose the 'none' epg option.

I think you'll find that even with gbpvr there will be a delay, and playing games over a tuner card will be pretty much impossible because of that delay.

That said there should be no reason why the tuner card it's working. Post your logs from the devnz\gbpvr\logs directory. After setting logging to debug in the config all and turn on log flushing. Then start the program and try the livetv.

Hmm, now that I think about it, have you defined a "channel" or a channel source that uses you composite connection? If you don't have any channels listed, then what is "live tv" going to start.

Even though you have the capture source set up, you'll need to give it a channel as well - call it "console" for all the program cares, just so it has something to use when live tv starts.

I'm not sure GB-PVR is the right app for you (or any app for that matter). I expect you'll find that there always be a delay when using a tuner card to play games on a PC monitor.

Ah.. ok. If there's always gonna be a slight delay then I guess I gonna stick to WinTV. Funny thing though... few seconds ago I read in a review, saying exactly the same thing as my friend told me Tongue
