Hi ...Wonder if anyone can help. I have two wired MVP units. Individually, these units work well and I can access all my stored media, however, it appears that when both units are powered up only one will be able to access this media. It could be either one that works depending upon which one is powered up first, but they will not both work together. Strangely, both will show the GBPVR GUI, but if one is connected and playing music -for example - any attempt from the other MVP to access recordings, or any other media on my media PC (where GBPVR resides) will simply cause this unit to show the Hauppauge 'Contacting server' message for a while. Usually the GUI is re-loaded shortly afterwards, but attempting to do similar operation gives same results. Original (first booted) MVP will still happily access any media that's available.
I use a router to provide DHCP for my network, and am running GBPVR v1.2.13 with standard supplied dongle.bin My desktop Zonealarm firewall has during tests been disabled to see if this was causing issues, but no difference.
I have attached my GBPVR logs, and also a screen shot of a Net runtime 2.0 application event error (left in Logs zip)that seems to be generated when the above situation arises .
Thanks in advance if anyone can help
