DVB recordings on MVP are OK - NOT on PC

An odd one...

If I use either GB-PVR on my PC or Windows Media Player to playback a recording made with one of my DVB-T cards, I get weird results such as jumpy picture, stuttery sound, sometimes frozen picture but perfect sound....

The same recording will playback fine through my MVP however. It doesn't bother me much as I tend to watch everything through my MVP - it's just confusing me.

Any ideas anyone?

Some questions: Is your machine fast enough to decode MPEG2 files? Which MPEG2 codec are you using (you might detect this with GraphEdit).

There are some variations in how the actual audio and video is stored in a MPEG file. You might try to fix this with PVAStrumento.
