My daughter said this happened to her last week (I think, I didn't investigate too far because I was taking some fiber optic network installation training and didn't have the time).
She said American Idol was running two back to back shows (not one 2 hour show, it was listed in the epg as two separate hour shows).
She said it recorded the first one but not the other. I guessed it was because they had the same title and air date so GBPVR thought the second one was just a repeat of the show (the shows had different show descriptions though).
How does GBPVR decide if a show matches one that has already been recorded? By matching show names and dates or are other variables taken in to account? If it doesn't already, maybe comparing show descriptions wouldn't be a bad idea?
