Failed recordings

First off, thanks for the great program.

I am getting failed recordings and I can't determine why.

I have 2 HVR 1600s and a WinTV PVR 150, all analog. The system is runnings Windows XP Pro.

Sometimes a recording fails.

I have attached my logs in the hope that you can assist me.

Can you give us specific examples of recordings that failed (date/time/program name)? It's tough to just wade through the logs aimlessly looking for something wrong.

Have you perhaps don't record duplicates set?
I experienced a similar behaviour in the past and that was the reason.

I see Medium recording at 9:00pm on the 27th. Everything looks ok to me. The .mpg file did get created. What is actually wrong with the recording?

It is creating duplicate recordings like dfdario said. I see that one succeeded, but in PVR2 there is a failed recording as well.

How do I remove the duplicate recordings?

In capture source http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Config/CaptureSource don't record duplicates, but last few days problem happened again. It lacks also to wake from windows schedule tasks.
Watching logs seems GBPVR is schedulig only wake up for EPG update and two recordings on 5/7 and nothing else. If I restart the system logs report that all progs are scheduled as expected while windows sheduled tasks fails again.
Now I'm living for a few days, I will test deeper on monday.

I suggest you have a look into your GBPVR_RECORDING_SERVICE.LOG and see if all schedule is correctly set.

I probably found why my PC won’t wake up. The USB was misconfigured into the registry. Now it seems working perfect.
For other having trouble with their PC, don’t forget what my friend Walter wrote me some days ago:
"Did you know that more than 90% of the crashes in Windows that are reported to Microsoft are caused by hardware drivers developed by 3rd parties?"
Even if he works for Microsoft I couldn’t say he is wrong.
