I have a Skystar2 card using BDA drivers on Windows XP Pro. I tried GB-PVR for the first time last night, setup the channels, EPG, etc. And then set a recording for 21:20. I put the PC in sleep mode.

The PC woke up just before 21:20 as I hoped and I could see the hard drive light continously going off so assumed the recording was working. Afterwards I went into PVRX2 and recordings. There it was listed and it said ready. I tried to play it and nothing happened. Then looking in the recordings directory I find a zero sized .ts file with the correct name.

Why is this not working?

I think I found the problem. MUXChecker reports the following:

Quote:NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE.

GB-PVR will not function correctly unless you have WinXP SP1 or higher, which has a built-in DVR-MS mux filter.

This is weird though because I have WinXP SP3 and DVBViewer can record the same channel just fine. So why is it not finding it?

You can ignore this. This only checking for third party muxes. You already have the DVR-MS and TS muxes.

I dont know. Post the logs and I'll take a look.

Do any recordings work?
