Sorry, I didnt notice the logs were attached to the first post.

I'm not really sure. It looks like its unable to connect the tuner and capture filter, like they're in use elsewhere in the system.

I think that is what I did for the first post. However I have now configured the second tuner as FusionHDTV2, using the same "Dvico Fusion Dual Digital USB" entry. I tried to find the channels for both tuners, unsuccessfully.
The resulting Config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log are zipped and attached.

I am so slow that you seem to get a reply to me before I have finished the next!

If I could work out the names of the capture filters and the extensions I could probably arrange to copy them to the C:\Program files\devnz\gbpvr directory. Is that possible?

From my viewing of the Config.exe-native.log file, which is entirely by guesswork, it seems that gbpvr detects the TV channel CTC at 177.5 MHz using the tuner, but that the filter and hardware are not subsequently matched.

So I tried a couple of things.

Vista identifies the tuners as FusionHDTV USB, AVStream Capture (DVBT-DUAL), so I created a new entry in the bda.ini file which had this as the first line between [], and the following 7 lines the same as for [Dvico Fusion Dual Digital USB]. The logic was that the search when matching the filter to the hardware may not be as fuzzy as when setting up the configuration.

I then used this when configuring the tuner in gbpvr. It did not help in linking the filter to the hardware.

There are several files containing the name Bluebird or Bluebird2 in the DVICO resources. These files are in several directories that I believe are for different tuner cards, and they are not the same even though the names may be the same. It occurs to me that gbpvr may be hardpressed to find the right copy. It would be good if the files were located in an ini file or somewhere. The catch is I do not know what the names and extensions of the files may be, nor how to add pointers in an ini file.

I have not given up yet, but it is getting rather frustrating.

Any more help would be appreciated.

In the first device's scan, it has the problem I mentioned above - failed to connect up (possible in-use elsewhere in the system).

In the second device's scan, the device number is wrong. This device uses different names for each tuner, so both capture sources need to be setup for device #1.

Its problems like this that make me recommend people stick to well supported/tested tuners like the Hauppauge ones.

Sub, I have just discovered a thread t=35893 where you solved this problem last year. I think that it will work for me now.

Thanks for your efforts then and now.
