MusicLibrary2 - Version 7 Support thread.

Just reinstalled PVRX2 and ML2, and I am getting the columns there (left, top and right) but they come up blank. The paths are correct, and the scan finds all the files, but it comes up blank. I might have installed an older version, not sure. I am going to grab the newest from the WIKI and try that. Oh, this is with Community Skin 3. Could be a skin problem? See my other post for why I didn't do more, by the time I got to this point it was a long day.

umm, do you have a background.jpg in the skin directory? this is a legacy plugin and will probably be your only one and so you would have had to create teh skin folder. Then normally there's a missing background image. I think I have it in the wiki.

Didn't do it last night, remember, I installed 7048, and played a while getting Media Center to play MKV's first. Also, I don't think I have the problem with Community Skin. (After I got MLV's in Media Center, I went to the corner and bought some beer. On the first beer I noticed the problem, and installed 7022. It was about 3 hours and a few beers later I played with ML@ so....)

Ahh ok I didn't read properly, yes try rebuilding your database as pz1 says...

OK, I got it working. I was using the old ver 7 of ML2. I cleaned up my installtion files, loaded ver 8, and redid the database and it works fine.

Ran in to a FileNotFound exception issue:

The file is a playlist I deleted from another PC.

Its basically complaining it can't find that file '\\ghz\mp3\Bond\Explosive The Best of Bond\Bond - Explosive; The Best of Bond.m3u

I take it it exists? Is this a playlist entry listed on the play list screen? I wonder if it's worth having a quick hack around in the db, and changing it from a network path to a local path???

I can redo the library. I just thought I'd mention it in case you wanted to handle the exception better. (Like,
