McBainUK Wrote:The folder structure in your 1st post I don't understand. The plugin and skin folders would mean the files would go straight into the skin

Ah, I see now. Just to explain my first post: The folder structure proposed was actually a carbon copy of the existing SVN SD+WS folder structures. The "Plugin folder" contains the "resource folder" (and all subsequent folders) in the original SVN.

The idea of creating a copy of this structure was to "section off" the additional themes. Make them more independent of the actual Community Skin and plugin folders (which are at the origins of the SVN folder structure), to avoid confusion. The idea was to have the [Additional Themes] folder contain everything needed to create a additional theme installer (kind of like how the [DEV]Graphics is self contained and some way separated from the base package of CS and plugin).

All I need is for the script to copy everything I add to a SD+WS "...Theme name\Resources(et all)" to the relevent SD+WS folder in the users "C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Plugins\SkinPlugin4" folder.

That's where I was coming from.

Just to clairfy, this was meant as in a theme already made would be a good test of the SVn/distribution ideas rather then MAKE A THEME NOW request! Smile

I'm not quite there yet, but probably not that far off either Smile. I haven't separated any of my old themes from the CS3 package because honestly I don't feel that there is any thing worth copying across for CS4.

I was really just raising the installer script idea here first to try and avoid any further delay. But I do see now that you can't really do one without the other. So I'll get on with finishing the Reflect theme set and add it to the SVN. You guys can then work out the best way forward.

I've just committed the Reflect theme set to the SVN.

I think it's all in order, but it would be good if we got a couple of users here to check them out (especially MVP users - just in case they see something dodgy that I can't see on my set-up), before it's added to the wiki.

All right script monkeys have at it Smile

Just made released a v4.0.2 build as I've fixed a few things.

Created the theme installer scripts and added them to the SVN. Next job is to create the theme gallery wiki page and upload the zips...
