ok i installed the btwincap drivers and it playes ok now but it won't record it just sets there the rocording doesnt start and it won't remove stuff from the schedule

hrm, same issue about finding the silly crossbar. Are you sure you don't have some other program running in memory that is using the tv card at the same time?

i check my running processes and have nothing runnign that should be using it but i will play with the settins some and see what i can come up with

ok question could the whole problem be related to the database since it won't delete entries when i try to remove them fomr the recording schedule?

are you using gb-pvr frontend or the web frontend? does it complain with an error or does it silently fail?
