Blank Black Live TV

I am a newbie at this. I installed GBPVR v1.3.11, set up the Capture Sources, EPG, and the rest of the configurations using the online documentation. But I cannot get Live TV to work. When I select Live TV, I get no picture or audio, only a black screen. I tried Manual Recording and the mpg file it created is 0KB. So there is a problem there too.

I think the problem might be the codecs and I have looked through the forums for a solution, but to no avail. I have attached the log files and any help to get me pointed in the right direction is appreciated.

What video decoders have you tried using?

I have tried CyberLink Video/SP and MPEG2.

I suspect it is related to the decoder you tried to use. Try downloading/installing/selecting these decoders:

Downloaded and installed the recommended codecs and I still have the same problem. I have attached the log files and let me know your thoughts.

Sorry, I dont know then. I dont really know much about these vixs devices.

Not a problem I managed to get it to work. A combination of installing the right codecs that you recommended and upgrading the tuner driver to version 1037.2.1 got Live TV working.
