all,

I did a search and was not able to find any answers:

1. Is it possible to order the listings in recordings in reverse-cronological order? I'd like the most recent recording to show up first, and then the previous day's recording and so on. i currently have to scroll to the bottom to see the most recent recording and would like to avoid this step.

thanks in advance...

Does the "what's new" option under recordings not do this for you?

Yes it does.. but i still want the recordings listed in reverse chronological order. "Whats new" lists all the new recoordings - and I don't want to see the "kid's stuff" that's been recorded...

thanks.

I think alibert's TV Listings plugin will do what you want.

edit: to be clear, I mean the TV Recordings plugin, which is part of TV Listings. here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/TVListings

I think what he means is the in the READY list, once you go into a group of recordings, the oldest recording is on top. He wants the newest recording on top.

that is exactly what i mean as johnsonx42 put it... When I click on the recording list for "The Mentalist," I want to see the most recent recording on top, not the one previous ones or the first one I recorded; that still need to keep b/c the wife has not seen them.

thanks.

fwiw, I agree: it often seems very strange to leave the What's New list (my default view) where the newest is on top, and go to the Ready list only to have to scroll to the bottom to find the newest program.

TV Recordings does allow this to be configured, but I have other issues with TV Recordings so I don't use it. There are some improvements due for the next release, whenever that comes; for that matter there are some changes in the default recordings plugin in the next GB-PVR release as well. I guess I'll have to see which suits me more when the next version of each is available.
