Has anyone been able to get Hulu desktop to work with a hauppauge remote? Hulu support said it should work but I haven't been able to get it working.

My hauppauge 2250 came with an MCE remote, and it works fine. The navigation buttons (up down left right) do what you'd expect, and "OK" pauses and resumes playback. During playback, I think Up and Down control the program volume and you can still control the system volume with the volume rocker. Right and Left will skip forward and backward.

My 1600's have the regular hauppauge remote, not the MCE remote.

quesiton for you guys what is the command to back out of a fullscreen hulu video or shoudl i say the keyboard key as i am trying to configure my non mce remote for zinc and that is the las problem i am having

escape minimizes the video window and takes me to the hulu menu screen.

I was able to get it working (with my hvr-1600 remote) based on a post I found on sage. Here is a post that describes it. You need to edit the IRRemote.ini file in your windows directory, then restart IRRemote.

Basically there are 3 steps
1) Edit IRRemote.ini and add the following to the [Applications] section

2) Add following section to end of the file

NAVRIGHT={right}
NAVLEFT={left}
NAVUP={up}
NAVDOWN={down}
OK={enter}
PAUSE={enter}
STOP={enter}
PLAY={enter}
MENU={tab}
BACK={tab}
GRNPOWER={alt}{f4}

3) Save your changes and restart the IRRemote application.

Hulu desktop should now respond to your HVR-1600 (or PVR150) remote.

No. It'll only work on the PC.
