TV Show info wishlist

Hey!

I wish for a TV Show plugin that will vill download information about the series, episodes etc as well as fanart/series logo

look into using an xml listings enhancer (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...-Utilities), along with the TV Listings 2 plugin (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/TVListings). that may yield some of what you want.

Maybe I´m mistaken but aren´t those plugins for live tv?

the plugin I wish for is for TV shows already stored on the HDD

the 'videos' plugin im working on does this.

a alpha version was due out a little while ago, but i decided to make changes to look and feel more like boxee.

so basically how boxee does movies/tv shows is how the 'videos' plugin does movies/tv shows

Depends what you mean by liveTV - those plugins are for programs from the guide recorded on you HD or just watched live or timeshifted.

If you have a decent naming convention you can try importing your shows with vidImport it will add a description if your filename has a season and episode number.

I have already tried the WizImageGrabber and the WizMetadataGrabber but both give me the following error message:

"Unable to locate DLL: vjslib.dll"

Now the message dissapeared but now I ahve another problem instead. it retrieves metadata för a movie isntead of a tv series.

for instance... I try to retrieve metadata for the series Demons... But it retrieves instead for the movie Angels & Demons.

and alternate hits isn´t accessable

what am I doing wrong?

It derives the series and episode names from the filename. What are the file names you are trying to find info for?

If the Series name is not in the filename (ie. filename only represents the episode), there is a series override check box and text box that allow you to force the series name.
